Our comprehensive high school curriculum is designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills they need to succeed in the classroom—long after graduation.
EARN YOUR HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA IN LOUISIANA
Students who attend online school and meet Louisiana graduation requirements receive the same diploma as their peers who attend brick-and-mortar public schools in the state.
How Many Credits Do You Need to Graduate High School in Louisiana?
Students have the option to pursue either the TOPS University Diploma (24 credits required) or the Jump Start TOPS Tech (Career) Diploma (23 credits required). To graduate, students must successfully earn the minimum required credits. Please refer to your school handbook for the latest updates.

- Social Studies – 4 credits
- Health and Physical Education – 2 credits (.5 in Health Education; 1.5 in Physical Education)
- Foreign Language – 2 credits from same language
- Art – 1 credit
- Electives – 2 credits
- Financial Literacy – 1 credit
Total: 24 credits
Jump Start TOPS Tech Career Diploma
- English- 4 credits
- Mathematics- 4 credits
- Science- 2 credits
- Social Studies – 2 credits
- Health and Physical Education- 2 credits (.5 in Health Education; 1.5 in Physical Education)
- Electives/Jump Start- 9 credits
