  • With Credly, students can achieve digital, industry-recognized badges in areas like leadership and communication to showcase their skillsets and competencies to future employers or universities.

Preparing Lighthouse Connections Academy Students for College

Dual Enrollment Opportunities*​

  • High school students may be eligible to earn college credits through our dual enrollment program!​

  • Students may be able to take college courses while still in high school, simultaneously earning high school and college credit. ​

*Dual enrollment opportunities are available to eligible high school students who have applied and been approved through the school.​

COLLEGE CREDIT OPPORTUNITIES

Earning Transferrable College Credits with Pearson Accelerated Pathways

Eligible eleventh and twelfth grade students can complete college-level coursework—and earn transferable college credit—with flexible, dual-enrollment courses from Pearson Accelerated Pathways.
  • 18 courses to choose from, including everything from English and statistics to criminal justice 
  • online, self-paced courses, with the ability to complete lessons and assessments on your student’s own schedule
  • free, individualized college counseling to help determine which courses best fit your student’s interests and future plans

To participate, students must meet minimum GPA requirements and receive preapproval from their school counselor. Eligible Lighthouse Connections Academy students are invited to take one Pearson Accelerated Pathways course per academic year free of charge to be completed in the enrolled term.
