When your child attends Missouri Connections Academy, they’ll be attending a high-quality public school where they can meet all the Missouri educational and high school graduation requirements.
Missouri Connections Academy is operated and authorized in partnership with the Sturgeon R-V School District, which has contracted with Connections Academy to provide its educational program and other services for students in grades K–12. Similarly, the Louisiana School District has contracted with Connections Academy to provide its educational program and other services for students in grades 7–11. Grade 12 will be available starting the 2025-26 school year. Partnerships with these districts ensure your students online school is meeting state standards and preparing them for their future.
Connections Academy® Network schools are supported by Connections Education LLC, dba Pearson Virtual Schools, which is accredited by Cognia.

NCAA APPROVED
Making Sure Students Stay NCAA Eligible
The following courses, organized by subject area, have been approved by the NCAA Eligibility Center for use towards initial eligibility when delivered by Connections Education, Connections Academy, or Pearson Virtual Schools teachers using the Pearson Online Classroom (formerly Connexus®) EMS platform. The approved content is the Connections Education version of the course.
Note that not all courses may be available at all locations, and there may be slight variations between your state’s course naming convention and the name of the course listed on the NCAA Eligibility Center High School Portal.
