Nevada Connections Academy is a distance education charter school that originally received authorization in 2007 from the Nevada State Board of Education to operate as a grade 4–12 school. In August 2008, NCA received permission from the State Board to add grades K–3 beginning with school year 2008–09. Nevada Connections Academy now serves online public school students throughout Nevada in grades 9–12.
