Start Your College Career Early
Earn transferrable college credits with Pearson Accelerated Pathways.
Eligible 11th and 12th grade students can complete college-level coursework—and earn transferable college credit—with more than 18 online, self-paced courses from Pearson Accelerated Pathways.*
Eligible Oregon Connections Academy students may take one course per academic year free of charge!**
Prepare for four-year colleges and universities with the AVID Program.
Oregon Connections Academy is one of only four online schools across the nation to offer the Advancement via Individual Determination (AVID) program in a virtual environment. The AVID program is available for Oregon Connections Academy students in middle school and high school grades.
Taught by trained AVID teachers using AVID-specific curriculum, AVID is designed to support students through increased school-wide learning and performance.
The course helps students develop the skills they need to succeed by focusing on writing skills, critical reading, collaboration, time management, volunteerism, funding college through grants, scholarships, and loan options.
*To participate, students must meet minimum GPA requirements and receive pre-approval from their school counselor.
